Skills for Public Sector Accountants

A programme of courses covering the skills accountants need to stand out from the crowd

Accountants working in government and public sector organisations need a range of skills and knowledge to do their jobs. Some of those skills, I think, are not learned as part of formal accounting education. This programme is intended to help by bundling together a set of short courses that focus on skills that will help public sector accountants do their jobs better. The five courses in this programme are:

  • Financial Modelling in the Public Sector
  • Writing About Money
  • Talking About Money
  • Public Sector Procurement and Contract Management
  • Measuring (Public) Value for Money

If you buy this bundle you will have access to each course as it is published and will save more than 50% of the cost of buying each course separately.

"I've been through week one and it looks excellent, impressively clear. I will be doing this course."
